INFORMATION PARENTS NEED TO KNOW
The Pineapple Cove Classical Academy Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) serves to assist the school with event coordination, teacher and staff support, and fundraising opportunities. The Pineapple PTO operates a website and a closed Facebook group for all parents and families interested and is the main line of communication for the PTO. Click below to request access to the group. To maintain privacy, access is restricted to PCCA families at this time.
In order to support the mission and success of Pineapple Cove Classical Academy, each family is required to donate 10 hours of volunteer time to the school each school year. Volunteer hours will be tracked through the Raptor volunteer system. Families who do not complete their required hours each year may relinquish their child’s seat at PCCA.
There are two levels of volunteers, Level A+ (advanced) and Level A (basic). All Volunteers receive a sexual predator screening each time that they check in but Level A+ volunteers also undergo a criminal background check. This allows Level A+ volunteers who have passed the security screening to
chaperone field trips and assist in the classroom or one-on-one with students. Level A volunteers
are able to help our school in many ways such as working on classroom materials or assisting with
A+ Level Volunteer: $35 (renewal $8)
